Park 'N Fly LOCKOUT of OE 987 / CUPW - Canada Post STRIKE

The Carney government announced plans for massive cuts to Canada Post, including ending door-to-door mail delivery, shuttering rural post offices and reducing the frequency of mail delivery.

This is an attack on a public service that Canadians rely on, and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers is fighting back.

CUPW is operating a 24/7 strike line at the Winnipeg processing plant at 1870 Wellington Ave.

In addition, CUPW is picketing Liberal MP offices in Winnipeg TODAY (10:00 am–2:00 pm):

  • Ben Carr’s office, 611 Corydon Ave.
  • Terry Duguid’s office, 2855 Pembina Hwy.
  • Doug Eyolfson’s office, 3092 Portage Ave.
  • Kevin Lamoureux’s office, 98 Mandalay Dr.

And unfortunately, Canada Post is not the only bad employer forcing picket lines today. OE 987 members at Park ’N Fly (Winnipeg airport) have been LOCKED OUT by management amid ongoing collective bargaining.

The OE 987 picket lines are running 6:00 am – 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday at 820-A Berry Street and 881 Berry Street in Winnipeg.

We encourage MFL affiliates to show their solidarity with OE 987 and CUPW members on their picket lines!
