Judy Darcy has been a champion for women in Canada, in labour and in government for five decades. As the second woman elected leader of CUPE National, Canada’s largest public sector union, she faced sexism and bullying, but did not let that slow down her fight for the rights of CUPE members.
She broke new ground as the first ever Minister of Mental Health and Addiction when she was elected to the BC government in 2013, at the height of the toxic drug crisis in the province.
Hope to see you there!
